In a serious blow to Adrian James Campbell, Justice Derrington of the Federal Court of Australia discharged the interim injunction obtained by Campbell ex parte on 21 May 2026 and ordered him to pay 80% of the respondent's costs on an indemnity basis.
The Court found three material non-disclosures concerning Campbell's residence, the true nature of the claimed $25 million loss, and the extent of his criminal history. The Court held that his failure to provide full and frank disclosure was "exceptionally serious" and sufficient to set aside the injunction.
The judgment records that Campbell's affidavit of 11 May 2026 stated that he had "never been the subject of any criminal prosecution in Australia" and had "never been convicted for any criminal offence". Those statements were later corrected in an affidavit dated 10 August 2026, which acknowledged prior fraud convictions, five Australian Consumer Law convictions recorded in 2015, and guilty pleas in 2018 to eleven counts of making false or misleading representations.
The Court also found that the claimed $25 million loss was allegedly suffered by companies controlled by Campbell — not by Campbell personally — and that those companies were not parties to the proceedings. The Court declined to set aside service or stay the proceedings and listed the matter for case management on 09-Oct-2026 9:00am
Orders dated 21 May 2026 (paragraphs 1 & 2) and 30 June 2026 (paragraph 1) are discharged.

Court-verified records from 2012, 2015 and 2018

"The conduct of Eco Boss Pty Ltd, Mr Campbell and Mr Newnham was calculated and manipulative, and there is no place in Queensland for traders who behave in such a deceptive and misleading manner."
